Casey Scott Wins Lewis County Amateur

Casey Scott fired a two-day total of 135 (-7) to win the Lewis County Amateur at Riverside Golf Course in Chehalis over the weekend.
Scott shot a 67 (-4) in the first round and carded a 68 in the second round to win by one stroke over John Sand, who recorded a 69-67 for a two day total of 136 (-6). Two-time defending champion Jon McCaslin finished in third with a two-round total of 137 (67-70).
Patrick Nugent had a two-day total of 139 (72-67) to place fourth and Matt Hartley shot 140 (68-72) to round out the top five.
The highest finisher from Lewis County was Warren Ayers of Chehalis, finishing with a two-day total of 144 (72-72) to finish in a tie for eighth.
Jeffery Moenck won the net (handicap included) tournament, shooting a two-day total of 130. Kalib R. Knutson, Tom Perez and Kiho Kim all tied for second, shooting 132. David Arcuri finished fifth in net score with a two-day total of 135.
