CC Baseball: Blazers Beat Grays Harbor 8-5
HOQUIAM — Gabe Farrer drove in four runs and Centralia pounded out 11 hits here Friday to beat Grays Harbor, 8-5, in an NWAC West Region baseball game.
Farrer went 2 for 4 with a two-run single in the seventh inning that put the Trailblazers up 6-5. He drew a bases-loaded walk in the first inning and added an RBI single in the fifth frame.
Wes Kuzminsky and Blake Marker were also both 2 for 4 for Centralia, which trailed 5-4 heading into the seventh inning.
Colton Titus added an RBI single in the eighth inning, and then came around to score on an error for what proved to be the game’s final run.
Cody Derosier pitched four innings in relief for the Blazers, striking out seven and allowing just one hit without a walk to get the win.
Centralia (5-10, 2-2 league) hosts Lower Columbia on Sunday at Ed Wheeler Field at 1 p.m.
