College Soccer: Centralia Ties Shoreline, Falls to Portland

The Blazers and Dolphins couldn’t decide on a winner as the two teams played to a 3-3 draw in a non-regional NWAC women’s soccer match at Tiger Stadium in Centralia on Saturday.
It was a scoreless game until the 45th minute as Killian Lamanna scored unassisted for a 1-0 Shoreline lead at halftime.
Centralia tied the game in the 57th minute. Chloe Narolski assisted a goal by Haylee Ward to tie the game. The Blazers took the lead temporarily in the 62nd minute on a Joanna Pingel goal with an assist by Kelly McCutcheon.
The Dolphins tied the match in the 65th minute on Lamanna’s second goal of the game. Shoreline regained the lead in the 78th minute with a goal by Abby Davis.
Narolski scored in the 82nd minute with an assist from Ward for the final goal of the game.
The Blazers outshot the Dolphins 27-9 overall. Erin Connally made one save and Bethany Dinh played the first half in net for the Blazers.
Last Wednesday, the Blazers fell to Portland 4-0, scoring all four goals in the first half. Alyssa Felix, Sophia Stumpf, Georgia Penziol and Amelia Pua each scored for the Panthers.
Connally made eight saves in net for the Blazers.
Centralia (1-2-1) has a week off before facing Tacoma at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Tiger Stadium in the West Region opener for both teams.
