Friday’s Prep Track & Field: Mossyrock’s Edgar Takes Third Twice at Wolfpack Invitational

TUMWATER — Mossyrock’s Heather Edgar took third place in the javelin and the shot put at the Wolfpack Invitational track & field meet here on Friday.

Edgar tossed the javelin 110 feet, 5 inches and had a distance of 34 feet, 11.50 inches in the shot put. Teammate Sara Lovan finished fourth in the 800 meter dash (2:33.66) and Faith Mulligan placed sixth in the 800 (2:38.17). Andee Nelson earned fourth in the javelin (110-04) and seventh in the triple jump (30-02).

Tenino’s Ashleigh Adams earned fifth in the triple jump (31-08) and Molly Craig finished sixth in the discus (87-10). Katie Snyder finished eighth in the 3200 (13:59.81).

Rochester’s Gabby Holman placed ninth in the 3200 (14:13.74).

In boys action, Rochester’s Patrick Riley finished sixth in the 400 (53.74) and seventh in the 200 (24.34). Ian Lupardus placed ninth in the 110 hurdles (18.28) and Daniel May finished seventh in the javelin (140-10).

Mossyrock’s Matthew Panuska took eighth in the discus (115-06).

Rochester and Tenino back in action next Friday and Saturday at the Chehalis Activators Classic. Mossyrock travels to Kalama next Friday for the Twilight Invite.
