PORT ANGELES — The Warriors couldn’t quite get past Forks here Saturday on Day 2 of the Port Angeles Holiday Tournament.

Keegan Goldrick scored 20 points, but Forks pulled ahead in the middle quarters and held off a late charge from Rochester in the final frame.

The Warriors were coming off a 24-point performance in a loss to host Port Angeles on Friday night.

“Obviously we bounced back and played a bit better, but still not quite enough to get it done,” Rochester coach Mark Goldrick said. “We just kind of didn’t score enough points and didn’t make the right decisions down the stretch to get it done.”

Cort Prose led Forks with 12 points, and Braton Armas added 11.

Riley Erickson added 12 points for Rochester. The Warriors (5-4) are off until Jan. 3, when they begin Evergreen 2A Conference league play with a home game against Centralia.
