Thursday’s 2A/1A Cross Country: Centralia’s Erickson, Rooklidge, W.F. West’s Lima, Robbins Qualify for State XC

WOODLAND — Centralia’s Makayla Erickson and W.F. West’s Francisco Lima and Henry Robbins each qualified for state at the District 4 2A cross country meet at Lewis River Golf Course here on Thursday.

Erickson finished 13th in the 2A girls race with a time of 21 minutes, 35 seconds. Rooklidge finished in 27th place with a time of 22:29. Washougal’s Amelia Pullen won the race with a time of 18:24. The highest Bearcat finisher was Savannah Johnston, placing 31st with a time of 22:53.

In the boys race, Lima placed eighth with a time of 16:51. Robbins finished in 11th with a time of 17:00. Ridgefield’s Kyle Radosevich won the race with a time of 15:53. Centralia’s Cameron Moore was the highest finisher for the Tigers in 47th place with a time of 18:09.

In the 1A girls race, Tenino’s Katie Snyder was the highest finisher in 24th place with a time of 23:41. Drew Hart was the highest finisher for the Beavers in the boys race with a time of 19:13 to finish in 35th place.

Erickson, Rooklidge, Lima and Robbins will compete in the State 2A Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.
