Tuesday’s Track & Field: Winlock Boys, Rochester Girls Win Team Titles at Dual Meet

WINLOCK — The Winlock boys and Rochester girls captured team titles at a non-league dual track & field meet here on Tuesday.
In girls action, Rochester’s Payton Pekola won the 200 meter dash in 30.78 seconds. Gabby Holman won the 1600 (6:31.93) and the 3200 (14:53.33). Amerika Jones won the 100 meter hurdles (18.74) and the 300 hurdles (59.47).
The 4×100 relay team of Megan Haury, Pekola, Kate Peltier and Hannah Rodeheaver won with a time of 58.90 seconds.
Rodeheaver won the shot put (29-01.75) and Peltier won the high jump (4-08), long jump (13-09.50) and the triple jump (29-00).
Winlock’s Elizabeth Gabbert won the 100 (14.34). Azhia Camps won the discus (82-01) and the javelin (87-10).
In boys action, Winlock’s Coleson Richendollar won the 400 (55.40) and Noah Patching won the 800 (2:12.63). Sam Howsden won the 1600 (5:14.49).
The 4×400 relay team of Bryce Cline, Logan Hall, Patching and Richendollar won with a time of 3:55.12.
Nolan Swofford won the shot put (38-01) and Hall won the discus (100-06). Cline won the high jump (6-00) and Cody Deguise won the long jump (17-04) for the Cardinals.
Rochester’s Patrick Riley won the 100 (11.79) and the 200 (23.93). Christopher Dugas won the 3200 (13:24.02), Ian Lupardus won the 110 meter hurdles (18.33) and Jaden Martenson won the 300 meter hurdles (50.88).
The 4×100 relay team of Lupardus, Casey Reese, Daniel May and Riley won with a time of 47.56 seconds.
May won the javelin (145-00) and Nick Forseyth won the triple jump (34-06).
Rochester is back in action on Friday at the Spudder Track and Field Classic in Ridgefield. Winlock heads to Napavine on Thursday for a Central 2B League meet.
