Wednesday’s College Sports: Centralia Sweeps Green River

The Lady Blazers made it two wins in a row on Wednesday, defeating Green River 3-0 in an NWAC West Region volleyball match at Michael Smith Gymnasium in Centralia.
Centralia won with set scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-14.
Autumn Durand led the Blazers with eight kills and added four digs. Macey Martin recorded a team-high 12 digs and Peyton Timmons led Centralia with 28 assists. Tianna Hanohano and Kary Sathre each had five kills and Taviana Keahey and Stephanie Fried tallied five kills each for the Lady Blazers.
Centralia (9-15, 2-4) hits the road on Friday to face South Puget Sound in Olympia in an NWAC West Region contest.

College Soccer
Bellevue Dominates Centralia
BELLEVUE — Bellevue’s Lauren Landis scored four goals to lead the Bulldogs to a 9-0 win over Centralia in an NWAC West Region women’s soccer match here on Wednesday.
Katelyn Reeves and Katelyn Evans each scored two goals for Bellevue.
Centralia goalkeeper Haylee Perkinson made 12 saves in the loss.
Centralia (3-12-1, 2-8) is on the road against Tacoma on Wednesday in a West Region game.
