Wednesday’s Girls Golf: Black Hills Swings Past W.F. West

W.F. West’s Elizabeth Twinning finished in third with 16 points, but it wasn’t enough as Black Hills won 67-49 in an Evergreen 2A Conference girls golf match at Newaukum Valley Golf Course in Chehalis on Wednesday.

Twinning shot a 53 which translated to 16 points via the modified stableford scoring system and Makenna Klovdahl tallied 10 points for the Bearcats. Aeryn Elder and Kat Torres each recorded eight points and Laney Barker and Emma Finley each had seven points for W.F. West.

Black Hills’ McKenna Canty won the match with 25 points, shooting a 44 on a regular scorecard. Senna Yim finished second with 17 points.

W.F. West plays at Riverside on Monday against Centralia in a Swamp Cup match.
